True Navy - PC54 - FRONT

Swamp Ranger T-Shirt

$24.42 USD

The legendary “Swamp Ranger” lives again!!!

This time without the mildew, cigarette smoke, and suspicious stains from the original Gator Lounge.

Printed on the dependable Port & Company PC54 Core Cotton T-Shirt, this shirt features the historic hand-drawn Swamp Ranger artwork that circulated around the Florida Ranger Camp (Now Camp Rudder) back in the 1960s and 1970s. Rumor has it the original art was created by an unknown Ranger Instructor (RI) sometime around 0200 after too much coffee, too little sleep, and possibly a questionable amount of “motivation fluid.” Honestly, that just makes it more authentic.

Back in the day, these designs showed up on plaques and T-shirts worn by cadre, students, and family members who spent time at the infamous Florida Ranger Camp. The originals were sold out of the old Gator Lounge when it was basically a wooden shack held together by humidity, Ranger glue, and tetanus. If the walls, floor, and ceiling could talk, most lawyers would strongly advise them not to.

We took that vintage artwork, cleaned it up, converted it for modern DTF printing technology, and turned it into a wearable piece of Ranger history. This uses modern Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing, which means sharp details, durable colors, and a print that can survive abuse almost as well as a Ranger student surviving the swamps in Florida heat.

Originally these shirts were mostly offered in white because, well… options were limited back then and the internet hadn’t been invented yet. Thanks to modern civilization, you can now get this classic design in several colors — including Coyote Brown, which just happens to be the same color as Tan 499, the currently authorized T-shirt color worn with the Army OCP uniform. Funny how history works out sometimes.

Whether you graduated from Florida Ranger Camp, served as an RI, grew up hearing stories from a father, grandfather, or family member who did, or you simply appreciate old-school Ranger history with a little grit and attitude, this shirt deserves a place in your collection.

Because some legends deserve better than being left in a dusty frame hanging in somebody’s garage.
